Due Diligence –
- ‘Asset review’ includes data integrity, loan performance, underwriting standards, title and security valuations (by AVM, desktop, drive-by etc); and
- ‘Current lender/servicer review’ covers policy and procedures, compliance, quality assessment etc. Gemini arranges and executes these activities via virtual data rooms and servicing site visits.
Legal Title Holding – Clients who are looking to enter the market quickly or who do not wish to carry the regulatory burden will benefit from a relationship with Gemini. In-house compliance experts assist you in the setup of an SPV to hold the assets, or one of Gemini’s affiliated entities will manage legal title and take on the regulatory responsibility on your behalf. Beneficial interest and control of the portfolio then continues to be held by the Client in alliance with Gemini, thanks to its understanding of regulation in the UK financial services sector.
